If you are looking for a mate for a mousebird  you have (for breeding) I would like you to answer the following questions. This can be copy and pasted into the contact form below.

1...What species do you have, and have you had it sexed, and what sex is it?

2...What is the age?

3...Do you know who bred the bird, and have any background on the parents and/or grandparents? If banded, what is the breeder code? This info helps to see if I have an unrelated mate.

4...What is the diet fed daily? Successful breeding is dependant on a good, plentiful and varied diet.

5...Have you ever bred any species of birds before? Past experience is helpful, though not a priority, to spot potential problems before they become serious/fatal.

6...Have you researched breeding, and types of nests used by different species, independent from the info on this site?

7...If a nest gets abandoned, with small chicks, do you have the time to hand-feed every ½-1 hour depending on the age of the chick?
